The workaround I have now is to rebind my controller in the steam link settings I rebinded the select button to start button (single press) and the start button to start button ( double press) in the controller settings that appear when you double press the select button on the controller. However, when I pressed select the overlay came up. Last Recode from the beginning the game request the player to press select to open the map. I downloaded steam link app to apple tv yesterday while playing. I'm almost sure that behavior only happens on android. The middle "guide" button somehow is hard coded to "back" on android so it is as if it's pressing the back button on a remote. My research has yielded Select (xbox Change View + Red B button) will send the Select command through the Steam Link app, at least on android. I just started having the same issue with xbox s controller. Yes, I've updated the firmware in controller to most recent version (as of a week ago). Also - NONE of the four additional paddles on the back are detected/configurable in Apple TV or Steam. Guide button - this just brings up Apple TV's 'quick action' menu from the right sideģ. Select - (with most recent Steam client UI, brings up 'Steam Overlay (what it looks like on Steam Deck now)Ģ. I CANNOT get these buttons to work for ANY function in-game:ġ. I'm using an XBOX Elite Series v2 controller. The settings are correctly sticking/applied. I've since restarted both the Apple TV and PC. I've also gone to the settings in my Steam Link app on Apple TV > Settings > Streaming > and set 'Controller overlay' to Disabled. I've gone to Steam on my PC > Settings > Remote Play > Advanced Client Options and set 'Controller Overlay button' drop down to Disabled. but it seems to work for everyone else but me: I want to DISABLE the Controller Overlay using Remote Play (PC to Apple TV). Not sure what else there is I can do to fix this. A save file from before the bug occurred.Guys, I've had it. I disabled the desktop configuration's overlay binding to stick click with no change (the popup is automatic, unrelated to any input).Ĥ. The overlay is not bound in any of those cases that I could see. I have tried a second popular community configuration. I have switched to the default recommended configuration. Keyboard overlay is not bound to any inputs. I have triple-checked my controller configuration. Using the Steam Overlay, this input style provides a grid menu on-screen to. Searches for disabling the behavior yield launch options switches (-NoKeyboardUI) for another game (Rocket League) that are irrelevant here. If you do not need an input device, this is the easiest way to disable it so. I want to disable this behavior as it is disruptive but cannot find a way to do it. The Steam Controller keyboard overlay pops up automatically whenever there are text input prompts. A save file from before the bug occurred.* Detailed steps of how to reproduce the bug.Ĥ. Unable, please see description (The problem requires multiple screenshots and I don't have the time right now to edit the description should be reasonably clear.)ģ. ![]() It is possible this input problem could be related: There is another bug report dealing with the Steam Overlay and the inability to correctly register mouseclicks. Because I cleared the original keyboard overlay, I can now click the left and right scroll arrows to get a desirable amount which works correctly. The text input prompt shows '10', but changing the item count directly or confirming the amount reveals the original default number '50', indicating that POEII sensed the keyboard input but did not correctly change the value in the prompt. I edit the default number (50) using the Steam controller to 10 and press the virtual enter key. The steam keyboard overlay automatically pops up obscuring the game. I click the the item and the text input prompt pops up. A vendor offers infinite amounts of alcohol. Any further input will reveal the original value. (I'll be uploading another topic requesting how I can turn this behavior off.) Editing the value in the overlay changes the value in the text prompt, but does not actually change the value.
